John Buchanan "Buck" Ray was 3 in the 1860 Schley County, Georgia, census. His family moved to Taylor County before the 1870 census. Buck remained there at least through the birth of his daughter, Lula, in 1881. Records show that his father was there and alive as late as 1889, and his mother was a widow in that county as of the 1900 census. I've found no record thus far of Buck in Taylor County or elsewhere after the 1880's. | ||||
